The first 4G LTE smartphones with 64-bit processors and a price of $70 will be launched this year

A year and a half ago, Apple's senior vice president, Phil Schiller, was present iPhone 5S as the first and only smartphone with a 64-bit processor, the title remaining attributed to it for a good part of 2014. In 2015, things change, those from ARM claiming that approximately 50% of smartphones sold by 2016 will have 64-bit processors.

Moreover, the company that developed the architecture that is the basis of most smartphone processors claims that this year we will also see the first smartphones with 64-bit processors, 4G LTE connectivity and a price of $70. Of course, the small Chinese smartphone manufacturers that launch terminals for ordinary Chinese are taken into account, but the forecasted price is unexpectedly low.

Those from ARM have nothing but to gain from the appearance of such cheap smartphones, selling their technologies to a multitude of manufacturers of processors for mobile terminals. In this idea, more and more smartphones appear on the market with 64-bit processors, most of them in China and most of them with very low sales prices compared to the global market average.

To be honest, I'm very curious to see what will be the first smartphones with such low prices and good enough hardware, and I don't think I'll have much to wait until they appear.
