In 2014 iPod"died", and for the last 3 months of last year the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), even no longer presented sales of this product category, so we can expect a withdrawal soon. If in Q3 2014 (Q4 2014 for Apple) the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), sold 2.6 million units of the iPod collecting 410 million dollars, in Q4 2014 the products probably generated much less money. In this idea, those from Apple decided to completely give up announcing sales figures for this product category, so that the iPod will soon become history. iPhones are by far extremely popular and offer the functionality of iPods anyway, so the future lies, for now, in these products and not in the old iPods.
