Jony Ive is not a fan of the only authorized biography of Steve Jobs, he bought his plane

Jony Ive stated in the extended interview granted to an American publication that he is not one of the biggest fans of the only authorized biography of Steve Jobs. Written by Walter Isaacson, the authorized biography was briefly read by Jony Ive, he convinced himself after only a few paragraphs that she did not deserve the attention she received. Ive claims that many parts of the biography present inaccurate information about him and the life of Steve Jobs, so he decided not to read it and not to promote it to the whole world.

In a later conversation, I said that he'd read only parts of the book, but had seen enough to dislike it, for what he called inaccuracies. "My regard could not be any lower," he said, with unusual heat. He is impeccably solicitous, with frowns of attention and apologies for lateness or workplace untidiness, and he seems to extend this tone to everyone—including, presumably, to the crew of his twenty-seat Gulfstream GV, which he bought from Powell Jobs after her husband's death, in 2011.

Apart from this, we find out today that Jony Ive also bought the plane Gulfstream GV that Steve Jobs bought to transport him on his various visits that he made around the USA and beyond. The plane that can carry 20 passengers was bought from the ex-wife of Steve Jobs, Laurene Powell Jobs shortly after the death of the former CEO. Jony Ive uses it every time he travels around the USA and beyond, so that he is now useful to one of the best friends of the late Steve Jobs.
