Apple has released a security update for OS X Yosemite

OS X Yosemite hero

Just a few minutes ago, Apple released a security update for the OS X Yosemite operating system, 10.10.2, which is available for free download through the OS X software update system. The security update is dedicated to all Macs , a special version being released for the new MacBook Air/Pro, but also for the new MacBook Retina Display 12 inches, Apple avoiding for now to list the problems solved by the software released during this evening for users.

OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 doesn't show any such update for app developers or people testing the public beta version, so Apple probably fixed the vulnerabilities in those builds of the operating system. Considering that we are talking about a security update, it is advisable to install it in your Macs, even without finding out beforehand what changes Apple has implemented for us.
