Apple Watch - new details about sales and deliveries

Considering that Apple still avoids providing information on Apple Watch sales and deliveries, analysts continue to provide us with estimates regarding the achievements of those from Cupertino and they present a rather interesting picture regarding what Apple has achieved. According to an American company specialized in analyzing mobile terminal markets, Apple would have registered 1.7 million orders for the Apple Watch in the US alone.

Of these 1.7 million units ordered by users, only 22% were actually delivered by the American company, that is, up to 150.000 units that reached users waiting for the product. The figure is small and does nothing but confirm the fact that the initial stocks were much too small to cover an apparently very high demand for the new product.

The American company analyzes data taken from 2 million Americans who shop online, so the information should be very accurate, or at least that should be the main idea. According to this information, 28% of Apple Watch orders have delivery dates in April, 33% in May, 1% in June, but 38% do not yet have a delivery date set by Apple and this is worrying.

This information is presented despite the fact that Apple advanced some customer delivery dates, so that certain units that were supposed to arrive in June will arrive in May, but this does not solve the delivery problem for many. Apple would have already increased the production of the Apple Watch to cover the demand on the market, but it remains to be seen if it will succeed in doing this in the end, or if it will only end up disappointing its customers.

Tonight, Apple will announce its financial results for Q1 2015 and probably Tim Cook will provide details about the sales figures of the Apple Watch in the 9 countries where it is available.
