Apple Music has 10 million active users

Apple Music 10 million usersApple Music was launched with great fanfare by the Apple company, the audio streaming service still having a controversial reception, some journalists appreciating it, while others criticized it for the various flaws it has.

Despite this, Apple Music has over 10 million active users in the first month after launch, a very high figure for a recently launched service, but small compared to other audio streaming services currently on the market.

Although we are talking about a month in which Apple Music is offered for free and it is normal that the number of users willing to test the system is high, Apple's partners are surprised by the attention that the service has attracted during this period and are confident that it will be successful including after the three months in which it is offered free of charge by Apple.

Inside sources at some of the major labels—who are bound by ironclad NDAs—say that Apple Music has attracted more than 10 million subscribers in a mere four weeks. These sources, who risk possible waterboarding by Robert Kondrk and team for any fissures in Cupertino's customary wall of silence, have been surprised by how many have signed up for the service during this initial free trial period.

Although the 10 million users of Apple Music are much less than the tens of millions of users of Spotify or Pandora, let's not forget that we are talking about a service that is just at the beginning which in a month has gathered more users than other services in a few years.

The very large user base of iDevices and Apple's promotion strategy have made this successful launch possible, but it is also interesting to find out who is the daily audience of Beats 1 Radio, the radio station so intensively promoted by Apple.

I will tell you that I use Apple Music daily, but I don't listen to Beats 1 Radio daily, so it would be interesting to find out what percentage of these 10 million actually listen to the radio station.
