Here are the Intel Skylake processors that will be implemented in the new MacBook Air

Intel Skylake MacBook AirIntel Skylake is the new generation of Intel processors, and a few weeks ago we saw the first details about them, but today we also have the full specifications that give us the opportunity to see which models will arrive in MacBook Air soon.

For starters, the company Intel chose to make processors Skylake-U in i7, i5 and i3 versions, so there are multiple options from which the Apple company can choose, the 2.3 GHz and 2.4 GHz i5 models coming to the cheap versions of the MacBook Airs.

As for the more expensive models of MacBook Air, i.e. those with 13-inch screens, Intel has ready processors Skylake-U i7 clocked at 2.5 GHz and 2.6 GHz, all processors in this series having the new integrated Intel 520 HD graphics cards with superior performances to those offered by current graphics cards.

Unfortunately Intel processors Skylake-U they will not have extraordinary performance, offering only a 10% increase compared to the current generation, but they will have 34% faster graphics cards and would offer a battery autonomy that is up to 1.4 times better.

Intel has not yet officially announced the new processors from the Skylake series, so we will have to wait until they are officially available for purchase by its partners, and from that moment a few months will pass until they are released and the first products with them.

Given that Apple has updated some MacBook Air models this year, it's unlikely that a new update will be released until next year, but anything is possible at the moment.
