Steve Jobs wanted Apple to make a car

Here's what the Apple car could be made ofIn 2008, Steve Jobs wanted Apple to produce an intelligent car which he will then sell in various markets around the world, but his dream will be fulfilled a decade away, if everything goes according to plan.

More specifically, Tim Cook approved the plan for the development of the Apple car only after the death of Steve Jobs, so that the electric and probably autonomous car is in an advanced stage of the development process, it could be launched until the end of 2017, or the beginning of 2018.

The information comes from Tony Fadell, the father of iPod, in 2008 he was one of the senior managers of the Apple company and a close friend of Steve Jobs, with the former CEO of the Apple company discussing in several lines about the possible development of an intelligent car.

Then Steve Jobs and various managers of the Apple company had discussions about how the car might look, what the interior might be like, or what kind of fuel it would use, but nothing was developed beyond a simple discussion within the company.

We had a couple walks, and this was in 2008, about if we were to build a car, what would we build? What would a dashboard be? What would seats be? How would you fuel or power it? At the end, it was always like, we're so busy, we're so constrained... it'd be great to do it, but we can't.

Although Steve Jobs was alive, the intelligent car project did not come into being, his desire to develop a car will be fulfilled by Tim Cook, Apple allocating impressive resources to develop a car, the first such product in its history.

At the moment, the Apple car is being developed by more than 1200 engineers in various laboratories in the US and other areas of the world, companies such as BMW or Daimler Chrysler being able to become partners of Apple, their former employees already working in Cupertino.
