How to access the task switcher without the Home button

SwipeSwitcherSwipeSwitcher is a tweak available since last night in Cydia for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch owners, its purpose being to allow us to access the task switcher without using the Home button of the terminals.

Apple has implemented such functionality for Touch 3D, allowing it to be accessed by pressing hard on the edge of the screen and dragging your finger across the screen.

Considering that old iDevices do not have 3D Touch, SwipeSwitcher offers the possibility to access the task switcher by a simple side swipe from the left edge of the screen towards its center, the list of applications open in the background being automatically displayed.

SwipeSwitcher allows you to pop open the app switcher by swiping in from the left edge of the screen. I know what you're thinking. Won't this affect the native swipe back function in almost every app!?!? Yes, and thus because of this SwipeSwitcher works like this: Swipe in from the top half of the screen to invoke the switcher and swipe in from the bottom half to do the native swipe back function.

SwipeSwitcher is available for download from Cydia's BigBoss repo following this link.
