iOS 9.3 – the function stolen by Apple since the jailbreak

f.Lux iPhone installationiOS 9.3 brings a lot of news for owners of iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches, the Apple company offering a hopefully big update for an intermediate update like this, all in the hope of increasing the adoption rate of iOS 9.

One of these functions is called Night Shift, the Apple company implementing a Night Mode system in iOS 9.3, that is, a system for use during the night, with the role of reducing the light emitted by the screens of iDevices and changing their colors in order to relax before sleep.

Apple says that its system is automatically activated at sunset based on the time and location, it also modifies the colors displayed by the screens of our iDevices, something that until now was done by a single application that could be installed in iOS, the name to be f.lux.

f.lux it was launched a long time ago in Cydia and allowed us to completely change the tonality of the colors of the screens of iPhone terminals or iPad tablets, its developer trying at a given moment to publish it in the App Store, its installation without jailbreak being also possible.

Apple blocked the possibility of installing f.lux without jailbreak, and in iOS 9.3 it took over the entire functionality of the application and offers it through the Night Shift system, designed to relax users at night and give them a better experience for using iDevices .

With every major iOS release, Apple steals something from jailbreak tweak developers, so no one should be surprised by the native inclusion of f.lux functionality in iOS 9.3.
