I don't know how many of you know about the application created by four Romanian students, SmartRead, but in the idea that not many people know, I will tell you a few things about her.
The idea of the application SmartRead, developed for smartphones and tablets, belongs to four 11th grade high school students from Bucharest. The application was already used last fall in two schools, after it had already won a prize at a European competition for business ideas.
In short, the SmartRead application proposes to students to evaluate themselves through tests and to learn through repeated checks during the readings. It also offers teachers efficient teaching methods.
SmartRead it is not an application that can be used only by students, but also by teachers. They can obtain information about how the students read, about those who record the best results, and the teachers also set the questions and answers for each student. Based on the information, teachers can create study plans and provide working documents to the classes they are dealing with, with a simple click. Both young inventors and teachers hope that this application will be used in more and more schools in Romania.
The schools that will use the application will pay only one dollar per month for each student.
