Here is Liam, the robot that disassembles iPhones

Conference for iPhone SE presentation began by detailing some of Apple's recent initiatives, and among them is a program that aims to recycle iPhones used by users, so that their materials can be reused for other purposes.

To show how easy it is to disassemble an iPhone, the Apple company introduced us to Liam, a robot specially created by its engineers in Cupertino, with the role of taking apart an Apple smartphone much faster than a human.

Liam is thought in such a way that he can identify each component of the iPhone and can remove it from its housing without affecting it, so that it can be reused by Apple or its partners for the manufacture of another product.

Liam is a robot that proves to us that Apple sometimes overthinks things and that simple jobs can be unnecessarily complicated, but what it has created is really interesting and probably in the minds of those from Cupertino it has its usefulness.
