Solve the problem of accessing iOS 9.3 links on iPhone or iPad

I told you at noon that in iOS 9.3 there are problems with accessing links through the Safari browser of the operating system, the Apple company being aware of the existence of the problem, but at the moment it doesn't seem that willing to put in the effort to solve it.

The problem manifests itself both in native applications and in some third-party applications, but the Mail and Safari applications are the ones where there are the biggest problems and in this article you will find some tips that will help you apply a temporary solution for them, at least until when Apple will return things to normal.

There is a very good chance that iOS 9.3.1 to be released in the next period to solve this problem that has existed since the first beta versions of iOS 9.3, but of course no one knows for sure what Apple will do to solve the bug in its operating system.

In the meantime, you can temporarily get things back to normal using one of the three tricks below.

  1. Access Settings > Safari, Configurations > Safari.
  2. Deactivate the function Safari Suggestions.
  3. If things do not return to normal, disable the function Preload the first result, Preload top hit.
  4. If the problem persists, access the menu Advanced, and disable javascript.
  5. Finally, delete the entire browsing history using the option Clear history and website data, Clear History and Website Data.

After following some or all of the steps, you should be able to access any kind of links in the applications, and if you don't use those functions you can leave them disabled because Safari will work faster than normal.

Unfortunately many websites require Javascript to function normally, so disabling this system could cause problems serious for viewing content on the Internet.
