Week Drake released his new album called Views, being available exclusively through iTunes and Apple Music for a week, and this exclusivity brought impressive sales on the first day of the product's availability in Apple stores.
According to some sources inside the record company that represents the artist, no less than 630.000 copies of the Views album were sold in just one day after the official release, this being a record set by Drake in terms of album releases.
The previous record set by an album by Drake totals 658.000 copies sold in 7 days after release, so last week's achievement is really impressive, especially since so far the total number of children has definitely exceeded 1 million.
Interestingly, Drake's new album recorded better sales than Beyonce's new album, the latter selling 700.000 copies in one week, the exclusivity for Apple stores proving to be a very good choice.
