The car designed by 2 Romanian students for people with disabilities that can be controlled by a smartphone

Two students of the Faculty of Mechanics from Iasi, impressed by the case of a good friend from the Republic of Moldova, who is in a wheelchair, designed the ideal car for people with disabilities. The car will be an apparently classic one, with two seats, automatic gearbox and remote control system from the smartphone.

The students started from a chassis and a body already existing on the market to which they added and adapted a platform that can be controlled remotely. From the main platform there is another ramp that automatically adjusts to the ground level and then the wheelchair goes up, and the wheelchair goes up together with the driver. One of the students declares that the car " It is equipped with an application that can be installed on the mobile phone and from it the driver can start the engine remotely, open the door, operate the platform."

In order for this car for people with disabilities to be built, the students need 21.000 dollars and for that a fund-raising campaign is underway, and if they were mass-produced, the costs of these cars would be halved.
