Apple wants to sell over 1 billion iPhones in the next 5 years.

Company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has very big plans for the next 5 years, and if at the moment the sales of terminals iPhone are decreasing, those from Cupertino expect sales of at least 1 billion iPhones in the next 5 years, i.e. in line with the achievements of 2015.

In 2016, Apple could sell almost 200 million iPhones due to the decrease in global sales, but in the coming years, Tim Cook expects sales to increase, especially in developing countries, with India being the most important among them.

Considering that in China Apple doesn't have much room for growth due to reaching a saturation level on the smartphone market, India is the new point of interest for those from Cupertino, Tim Cook is going to open an accelerator and a new center tomorrow dedicated Apple Maps.

The investment made there has the role of motivating local developers to create iPhone applications, so that Indians are motivated to buy Apple products, and the strategy could be successful if enough money is brought by Apple to this country.

I'm encouraged by the results that we're beginning to see there, and believe there's a lot, a lot more. I view India as where China was maybe seven to ten years ago from that point of view, and I think there's a really great opportunity there. There is a massive opportunity for every player in the mobile value chain when the second largest market by volume is still under penetrated and growing.

By creating jobs and supporting local application developers, the Apple company ensures that its iPhones become known in a country where they have not enjoyed as much notoriety as in other areas of the planet .

Apple is in dire need of a new country in which to increase its iPhone sales, and India could help it sell over 1 billion iPhones in the next 5 years worldwide.
