Google and Levi's launch a smart jacket (Video)

Announced within Google I/O 2015Project Jacquard it is carried out this year by the companies Google si Levi's, launching them in partnership Levi's Commuter, a smart jacket that is presented in detail in the video clip below.

Levi's Commuter it is produced using a conductive material that is able to sense the users' touches, the pressure or even the position of the person's hand before it actually touches a mobile terminal, so we are talking about a very interesting gadget.

Levi's Commuter it has a Bluetooth connector through which a smartphone communicates with the smart jacket, and using a dedicated application we can set a series of gestures that we can undertake on the coat to be able to control applications installed in smartphones.

The gestures themselves allow normal actions such as: adjusting the music volume, accepting or rejecting calls, opening some preset applications, obtaining guided navigation through Google Maps and some other rather trivial things.

Levi's Commuter it will be available in beta version in some Levi's stores starting this fall, it will be included in the spring collection of 2017, but only if all the tests done by the company will be successful.

What do you think about it? Levi's Commuter ?
