iPhone 7 went into production in China

The iPhone 7 went into production in the Pegatron factories in China, Apple's partner having the task of producing this model with a 4.7-inch screen, while Foxconn received the contracts to manufacture both this model and the iPhone 7 Plus, with 5.5 inch screen.

Pegatron is one of the classic partners of the Apple company, dealing with the assembly of iPhone terminals, but also of some iPad tablets, Apple relying on Pegatron for a very long time to deliver terminals that are sold on global markets.

iPhone 7 it entered test production at both Pegatron and Foxconn since the middle of last month, and now production starts with a small number of units assembled daily, but it will increase in the coming weeks and months, until September.

Last year Foxconn produced approximately 500.000 units of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus per day, Pegatron supplementing this amount with between 100.000 and 200.000 units daily, and this year Apple is probably trying to cover as much of the demand as possible from the day of launch.

Since production has now started, even in smaller quantities, it is clear that Apple wants to have as many terminals as possible in the first wave of launches in order to be able to cover as many markets as possible and to be able to boast of the highest sales .

Those at Apple have big problems with sales at the moment, and a launch in 15-20 countries, instead of 10 as was the normal limit, would allow Apple to exceed its sales record set during the year last.
