Apple Watch 2 will have GPS and will be more water resistant

Apple Watch 2, the future version of Apple's smart watch, is to be released in the fall of this year, most likely together with the iPhone 7, and today we learn about a very important change that Apple would offer us in order to improve functionality.

More precisely, according to some information that appeared today, the Apple Watch 2 is going to have GPS included to more effectively monitor outdoor physical exercises, mainly running, the implementation of this component eliminating the need to connect the watch to an iPhone to benefit from everything he has to offer.

Moreover, it seems that its Workout app is going to be improved to monitor swimming sessions more effectively, and this suggests that Apple would change the sealing of the case to allow diving to depths of up to 2 meters.

Basically, the Apple Watch 2 could be promoted by the Apple company as being capable of working under water, the Apple Watch having this feature, but those from Apple recommend it for use only under the shower, so not in the case of diving in the pool, sea, or even ocean.

Far more sketchy: The Apple Watch 2 is said to include GPS for accurate workout logging without the need to carry an iPhone, and the Workout app will reportedly gain the ability to track swimming – suggesting a higher level of waterproofing in the next Apple Watch.

Combining GPS with better watertightness, Apple Watch 2 could also monitor movements through the pool during swimming sessions, but whether this functionality will come or not, remains to be seen in the fall, when the product should be officially presented.

The whole world expects a lot of changes for Apple Watch 2, and the Apple company must meet all these expectations, otherwise it risks disappointing sales from this second smart watch sold under its own brand.
