Starting with iOS 10 Apple is going to offer additional protection for iPhone or iPad owners, the American company is going to alert users when liquid has been detected in the Lightning port of the device, a recommendation not to use the devices being offered.
All iDevices have humidity sensors in the ports that do not have protection against contact with liquids, and starting with iOS 10 for the first time, the Apple company displays liquid contact alerts to tell users when their terminals are in danger of being damaged due to contact with water.
In this situation, the alert is displayed when liquid is detected in the Lightning port of an iPhone or an iPad tablet, those from Apple displaying a multitude of information regarding the risk to which users are exposed if they do not let the terminals dry before continuing to use them.
Ignoring the liquid contact warning may void the warranty
iOS 10 also displays an option to ignore the alert regarding contact with liquids, but those from Cupertino warn users that ignoring this problem can lead to irreparable damage to their terminal, the technicians from Cupertino will be able to see logs with this problem if the terminal is taken in service.
Disconnect the Lightning accessory. Liquid has been detected in the Lightning connector. To protect your iPhone, unplug this Lightning accessory and allow the connector to dry.
The new alert is extremely useful for users because it can save them from the problems that can be generated by the liquid that has penetrated inside their iDevices, this being a first for those from Cupertino and I hope that people understand the seriousness of the problem based on which it is displayed.
