iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are recording higher sales than their predecessors, despite major inventory issues.

iPhone 7 had sales above expectations in the US in the first month of availability, the information being provided by an agency specialized in analyzing global smartphone sales. According to those from CIRP, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus already represented 43% of all iPhone sales in the last fiscal quarter, the achievement being impressive. Although the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were available for only a third of the entire Q3 2016 on the market, they managed to collect sales so high that they represented 43% of the total sales of iPhone terminals.

The percentage of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus terminals sold in Q3 2016 compared to that of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus terminals sold last year in the same period is much higher. You can notice that in September 2015 iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus had much higher sales than iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, although the latter were new.

This year, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus managed to outperform their predecessors in a much more efficient manner than they did in Q3 2015. This suggests that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are recording much higher sales than their predecessors, and this in the conditions where everyone expected something completely different.

Those from Apple have not yet announced figures regarding iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus sales, but analysts claim that they are much higher than what we saw last year. This increase in sales also comes against the background of major problems with the stocks of the two terminals, so the achievement of the Americans is impressive.

Apple will announce the sales figures for the iPhone in T3 2016 in just a week, so then we will know for sure if things are better than last year.
