Continuing the saga of defective iPhone 6S batteries, today I bring the bad news regarding the time required to replace the defective battery of such an iPhone. Yesterday I told you how you can check iPhone 6S battery in an Apple company page to find out if you can benefit from a free replacement in a service authorized by the American company.
In case you were happy that you could benefit from such a free replacement, today I also tell you that the waiting period for such a replacement is extremely long. In some countries in Europe it can take up to a month and a half to replace the iPhone 6S battery, during which some services keep the phones stupidly blocked in the service.
In Romania, the term for replacing the iPhone 6S battery in the Noumax and iStyle services reaches up to 15 days, yes you read that right, two weeks. The people from Noumax told me that until the middle of next week they don't have iPhone 6S batteries in stock for replacement, and after they receive them, the average repair time would be 2-3 days, depending on the battery stocks.

At iStyle, things are much worse, because from there I was told that the repair time is 10-15 days, i.e. 5 times longer than at Noumax. Of course, during this entire period, the iPhone 6S terminal must be left in service to catch dust instead of being used by the customer until the battery reaches the stock and he can be called for replacement.
Now, there is the possibility to find agreement in an Apple service, or another, and to be able to convince the employees to call you only when the replacement needs to be done. Of course, this depends on the service and the employee, so you can only try and see if you will be lucky enough not to be without a phone for two weeks unnecessarily.
