MacBook Pro 2016 has keyboard issues

MacBook Pro 2016 was launched last fall by the Apple company, a series of problems have been reported so far for this product. To their series today we add one related to the MacBook Pro 2016 keyboard, more and more users reporting the problem that you can see reproduced in the video clip below.

More specifically, some MacBook Pro 2016 users claim that some keys on the keyboard no longer work, while others produce strange sounds, some with intermittent functionality. In the case of certain keys of the MacBook Pro 2016, a simple press generates a double press, and in the case of some writing or coding applications, the problem becomes very annoying.

In the case of other keys, simply pressing them at a moment generates a blocking of them until they are pressed multiple times to continue working. I encountered this problem even with two normal Apple keyboards before they stopped working, so I understand why everything is an easy defect for Apple keyboards.

"Pressing the "enter" key will often behave as pressing it twice (ie it will repeat the press once more). This is a very severe issue / problem / bug especially if you're coding, editing text or using Terminal as much as I do. Risk, reward. rrisk rreward, rrisk rreward risk reward risk rreward, risk rreward risk reward. Sometimes you win; sometimes, it rains."

Coming to the problems of the strange sounds of the MacBook Pro 2016 keyboard, this is indeed a very strange problem, it occurs during operation at high or standard temperatures. The even worse part is that in the case of some MacBook Pro 2016, the problems appeared just a few hours after purchasing the new product.

"Sometimes I have to hit it 5 times to make it work. This usually happens after I didn't use the laptop for an hour or so (and it went to sleep). Within a few hours of using my Late 2016 MacBook Pro 15″ with Touch Bar, I noticed some of my keys made a very high pitched click on-key-up (when I lifted my finger from the pressed down key). The affected keys: Caps Lock, left Option, and very occasionally: Delete, 'H', and 'C'."

Are such problems normal with a laptop that costs up to 2500 euros with standard configurations? The answer is no, and Apple has replaced MacBook Pro 2016 units with problems in certain cases, so at least customers received a replacement MacBook Pro 2016 that initially has no problems.
