Amazon will release a new Echo with a touch screen

Amazon intends to announce during this day a new Echo product, that is, a smart speaker that this time will also have an integrated touch screen. In the image below you can see how much this new version of Amazon Echo misses, the design of the device being ugly, but the functionality should be much better than that of the current version.

Amazon Echo 2017 will have a touch screen with a diagonal of 7 inches, and there users will be able to see a variety of information, probably including from the Amazon website. Moreover, Amazon Echo will be able to make VoIP calls for users, a front camera probably allowing it to make video calls on demand.

Amazon Echo is going to be an improved version of the Look version, recently launched by Amazon, the latter being available without a touch screen. In the new Amazon Echo, it seems that users will also be able to take pictures of various clothes they are trying on and could compare them online with others already available in various search engines.

Amazon Echo is going to be more expensive than Alexa, so it is speculated that it will cost at least 200 dollars at the time of launch. How successful this new product from Amazon could be is hard to say, but since the company is launching a new Echo, it is clear that there is demand on the market for such gadgets.

"Separately, the Seattle-based retailer is expected to announce a broader rollout of telephone services for Echo devices within the next few weeks, according to the people. Calling capabilities may be rolled out in stages, one of the people said, for example starting as an intercom within the house between Echo devices, or between Echo owners. Because the capabilities are internet based, it isn't expected to require a SIM card or other mobile phone technology."
