Windows 10 picks up a macOS feature to make iPhone great again

Windows 10 will have a function of macOS that will allow you to create links between iPhone applications and those on computers.

Windows 10 is going to bring a very interesting change starting this fall when the Fall Creators Update will be released by Microsoft. According to those from Redmond, following an announcement made today, the future version of Windows 10 will make the connection between the applications on the computers and those installed in the iPhone terminals.

According to the American company, Microsoft Graft will allow developers to make the connection between Windows 10 and iOS, Android terminals will benefit from the same thing. Basically, Windows 10 users will be able to start certain tasks on computer applications and will be able to continue working on iPhone applications, as happens in macOS.

Apple calls these functions Continuity in macOS, and in Windows 10 they will work in a relatively similar way, but everything depends on the developers. Once the connection is made between Windows 10 and iOS, users can quickly copy texts, transfer links, and will be able to do many other things, depending on what the developers will allow them to do based on the functions offered.

Separately, Windows 10 could also allow content copying between iOS and computers, but everything can be quite limited. Separately, Windows 10 will have a function called Timeline that will allow you to display the most used applications on various devices, and for OneDrive there will be a function that will allow you to track file downloads.

All these new functions for Windows 10 will be available from the fall, but depending on what the developers will have ready.

"This new pick up feature is particularly useful on mobile devices, where Microsoft hopes app developers will start to link their desktop apps to resume experiences on devices like an iPhone or Android handset. Microsoft is also creating a cloud clipboard that will roam across Windows, iOS, and Android to let people copy content from a PC and paste it on a phone."
