Apple promotes Applications with Subscriptions that have a trial period

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has recently created a new section of applications in the AppStore through which it tries to promote those applications that work on a subscription basis, but offer a trial period. We are talking about a variety of applications, from those for streaming services to applications that offer a variety of other useful functions.

In 2017, Apple changed the rules for selling subscriptions through AppStore applications, and as developers take advantage of them, Apple starts to promote them. In this idea, the new applications section contains a fairly exclusive selection of titles that allow us to download their services for free before buying them.

Apple knows how important the trial period is for a service before paying monthly, and that's why we have Apple Music for 3 months free before purchase. The company is now trying to promote the applications of ordinary developers, so that they will register an increase in the monthly sales of subscriptions through the AppStore.

The new applications section can be accessed directly from the AppStore application on the iPhone or iPad and is available right on the first page, after scrolling down. In Romania, the applications section has the name Try Something New This Year (For Free).
