iOS 12 is expected to be launched in 2018 by Apple, and today we learn the first details about what it intends to offer for the iPhone and iPad from the Americans. According to some information that appeared today, the Apple company a postponed the implementation of important new functions in iOS 12 for iPhone and iPad, the reason being the desire to focus on improving performance and user experience.
iOS 12 has been in development for some time, but this month Craig Federighi notified his subordinate engineers that they would no longer be working on major new features for the new version of iOS, but instead on fixing iOS 11 issues. Apple intended to redo the design of the main application screen of iOS 12, to modify the design of some key applications such as Email, to implement new functions for photo/video editing and others, but decided to give them up.
iOS 12 will still come with some new functions, based on improvements for augmented reality, parental control functions, or some functions for monitoring users' health. Apart from these, iOS 12 is going to have more stable performances than in the case of iOS 11, but it would also come with fewer problems, iOS 11 generating extremely many complaints from Apple's customers.

"Apple has shaken up its iOS software plans for 2018, delaying some features until next year in an effort to put more focus on addressing performance and quality issues. Pushed into 2019 are a number of features including a refresh of the home screen and in-car user interfaces, improvements to core apps like mail and updates to the picture-taking, photo editing and sharing experiences. Software head Craig Federighi announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month."
iOS 12 will be a minor update compared to iOS 11, according to today's information, but major improvements are needed for the performance and user experience of the operating system for iPhone and iPad. Of course, Apple should have offered these changes in an update like iOS 11.x, and not in one like iOS 12, but considering that we don't run the Apple company, we can only wait to see what will be offered.
