Apple Watch will come with NEW Side Buttons

The Apple Watch will be launched in 2018 by the Apple company with new side buttons that bring a big change to the way smartwatches are used.

Apple Watch Side Buttons NEW

Apple Watch is going to go through a substantial design change in the next period, the Apple company intending to sell its products with new physical buttons different from the current ones. More specifically, the Apple Watch will have new "solid" physical buttons instead of the current ones that can be pressed inside, and here we are talking about the one on the lower side, and the digital crown that can be pressed, just like a button.

The Apple Watch is going to use a kind of 3D Touch for haptic feedback for these buttons, that is, when pressed, they will not go inside the case, but a vibration will be generated that will generate the impression of pressing a button. Basically, Apple wants to change the buttons of the Apple Watch just as it did a few years ago with iPhone phones, from which it removed the classic Home button in favor of one that generates vibrations when pressed to simulate pressing a real button.

Apple Watch will come with NEW Side Buttons

The Apple Watch will have the buttons in exactly the same formula as before, i.e. a long rectangular one, and a digital crown above it, the latter being able to be rotated continuously to see the contents of the watch. The change that Apple is preparing is an important one, and it would be announced for the Apple Watch 4 in the fall, but considering the complexity of the change, the launch could be postponed to 2019.

"Apple will stick with the Watch's current button configuration, with a button and a digital crown located on one side of the device, but neither will physically click as before. Rather than reacting to the user's touch by physically moving back and forth, the new buttons will vibrate slightly under the fingertip, using the haptic effect Apple calls the Taptic Engine. (The digital crown will still physically rotate to navigate through content.)"

The Apple Watch with nine static buttons could allow Apple to substantially improve the smartwatch's water resistance, but it could also offer more internal space for other components. Apple plans to launch Apple Watch 4 in the fall of this year with a design change, wanting to offer a larger screen, so the change for the buttons could also be related to the design change prepared by the Americans.
