Android: Phones Sold with HUGE PROBLEMS

Android can be exploited by hackers on some mobile phones sold by manufacturers with vulnerabilities that generate huge security problems.

Android Phones HUGE PROBLEMS

Android is an operating system known for the fact that it does not offer the best possible protection for customers, and that is not through fault Google, but of the manufacturers who insist on modifying the operating system. These changes made by the manufacturers for the Android phones that they sell all over the world allow hackers to exploit them in any way, the vulnerabilities being present in the phones sold as new in various stores around the world.

Android can be exploited by hackers who attack certain models of phones from ASUS, LG, Essential and ZTE, and they can even gain total control over users' phones without them knowing. Hackers can either block access to phones and demand money from users for access, or you can access the microphone without them knowing, some exploits require the installation of malware applications, while others use existing vulnerabilities in Android .

Android has these problems discovered by researchers funded by Homeland Security, revealing the results of the research at the Black Hat USA conference, which took place this week. The vulnerabilities discovered by researchers are based on the fact that Android is an open system, and this allows hackers to exploit certain functions to gain unauthorized control over the phones of ordinary users around the world.

"Android smartphones from Asus, LG, Essential, and ZTE are the focus of a new analysis about firmware bugs introduced by manufacturers and carriers. A lot of the people in the supply chain want to be able to add their own applications, customize, add their own code. That increases the attack surface, and increases the probability of software errors. They're exposing the end user to exploits that the end user is not able to respond to."

Android installed on ASUS, Essential, LG and ZTE phones should come without security issues, with the manufacturers confirming that they have solved some of the problems reported so far by researchers, while others remain exploitable. Unfortunately, problems of this kind are something "normal" for Android phones, and this in the conditions that some manufacturers deliberately integrate software to spy on users, or software that displays advertisements in an unauthorized way in the phones of customers all over the world.
