Windows 10. New security patches were released by Microsoft not too long ago for users around the world, with the aim of bringing more security to those who use the operating system. Unfortunately, it seems that Windows 10 users who installed these security patches over the April 2018 Update have very big problems of use, those who have the October 2018 Update being safe from problems.

Basically, Windows 10 became impossible to use after installing the KB4480966 patch on computers, but again, I will tell you that everything affects only those users who still have the April 2018 Update on their computers, not those who have the October 2018 Update installed already.
This is terrible, since this patch, my task manager doesn't reliably list my drives anymore... And Microsoft doesn't even have that listed among "known issues"! Wow, Microsoft. I am uninstalling the update now, waiting for MS to realize what they caused here. Edge can no longer open the web UI admin page for my router since this update (either by url http://bthub.home or IP address 192.168.1.254) IE still can. This bug is also reported for the Jan. 8 update for 1809.

These recent problems are just added to the many encountered so far by the Microsoft company with the various versions of the operating system, and from the looks of things, not much will change soon.
