Huawei. The US government made a huge concession last night in front of the American company, giving in to all the pressures coming from the imposition of extremely important changes in the country. More precisely, the US government decided to offer those from Huawei an extension of licenses for the purchase of certain products made by American companies, all with the idea of not affecting the services now offered to US citizens.
Huawei. Thanks to this concession, the Chinese company will be able to continue to buy components and software for the maintenance of telecommunications equipment used by mobile phone operators. This extension is applicable for a period of three months, so it expires in August, and Huawei will be able to offer during this period including updates for phones that have the Android operating system, which was announced yesterday by the Chinese, but also by Google.

Basically, the license offered by the USA is only meant to help with the maintenance of existing products, but it does absolutely nothing to help Huawei launch new products based on American technologies, which is not exactly to the benefit of the company, but at least it gets something.
The Temporary General License grants operators time to make other arrangements and the Department space to determine the appropriate long term measures for Americans and foreign telecommunications providers that currently rely on Huawei equipment for critical services. In short, this license will allow operations to continue for existing Huawei mobile phone users and rural broadband networks.
