Digi Mobil. Telekom, Vodafone, Orange, are preparing for new important changes in Romania in the coming months, and they will, of course, also affect all customers who use their mobile services at the moment. More precisely, we already know that the Romanian Government wants to amend GEO 114/2018, which was not approved positively by the IT committee in the Chamber of Deputies, and Digi Mobil, and the rest of the telecom operators, would benefit from this.
Digi Mobil. The turnover tax could be eliminated by the Government and Parliament of Romania, after Darius Valcov, the one who imposed it, is to be removed from the position of advisor to the Romanian Prime Minister. Moreover, it is very possible that the obligation for the auction for 5G licenses to bring at least 1 billion euros from Digi Mobil, and the rest of the telecom operators, will also disappear, and this news is one of the best of all.

Digi Mobil. All telecommunications operators increased the prices of services because the new tax on turnover was going to affect their profit, but that will not happen again, the same is true for 5G. The prices will not decrease, but the elimination of the obligation to collect 1 billion euros for 5G services could bring us from Digi Mobil, and the rest of the telecom companies, much more humane prices for the future networks of this kind in the country.
Digi Mobil. The coming months are expected to be very good for Romanian customers of mobile phone services, because the problems seem to be being solved, or at least this is the impression at the moment. Of course, the pressure that Digi Mobil and the rest of the telecom operators have been putting on the governors and parliamentarians must not stop, because otherwise the necessary changes will not be made by them.
Digi Mobil. Having said that, we await with great interest the changes prepared by those who lead our country, and it would be good if they change for the better everything that has been changed for the worse until now.
