Simona Halep did not publish these messages, but her fans appreciated them with tens of thousands of likes, although it was obvious that they contained malicious content. It's interesting how the mass mentality works, and how a star like Simona Halep can publish anything, and people give likes in droves, without looking at the problem.

"Hey, can someone help me please! I'm stuck in Switzerland and my bank account doesn't work here. For $500 I'll return $1.500 by the weekend. I have a Zelle account. Venmo doesn't work here for some reason. Please stop asking if I can get Venmo… It's so embarrassing.”

Simona Halep also has a page on Facebook through which she communicates with her fans, but no message was published there to warn about the problem on Instagram. It is known that Simona Halep is connected to her Instagram account from her own phone, but it is not yet known how it was hacked.
