Orange has predicted a MAJOR PROBLEM affecting its customers

Orange predicted a major problem that affects its customers in Romania, and which is getting more and more complicated due to the indecision of our authorities.

Orange Foretold MAJOR PROBLEM Affects Customers

Orange, through the voice of the CEO Liudmila Climoc, said more than a week ago something that is correlated with a situation that affects the customers of telecommunications services in Romania, regardless of the operator. More precisely, the CEO of Orange said that for now the company he leads does not want to make investments for the 5G network because there is no legal and procedural framework for the creation of the infrastructure, and yesterday ANCOM said that the auction of 5G frequencies could be postponed to 2020 .

Orange has not launched any 5G network until now, as Digi Mobil or Vodafone did, and their decision seems to be a very good one since the authorities do not seem to be ready to offer 5G frequencies. Orange is the largest mobile phone operator in Romania, and probably would have had some of the biggest sales for 5G phones, but it prefers to be very cautious in the totally uncertain political environment in Romania.

Orange has predicted a MAJOR PROBLEM affecting its customers

Orange did not make many announcements regarding the 5G network it will launch in Romania, although it presented the benefits for its customers, and invests in startups that develop products based on it. Regarding the commercial launch of Orange's 5G network, things remain uncertain until the authorities finalize the procedure for the auction of 5G frequencies, as well as the conditions under which they can be used.

Orange will definitely have one of the most extensive 5G networks in Romania, if not the most extensive, and this is because it has the necessary resources to develop something with very good coverage. Orange's reluctance at the moment is perfectly normal since GEO 114/2018 has caused so many problems for operators, and the interim government has limited prerogatives, which also affects the launch of 5G networks.

Orange has little to lose for now due to the lack of a 5G network, but next year things will get quite complicated from this point of view.
