RCS & RDS Remain at a BIG DISADVANTAGE in front of Orange, Vodafone

RCS & RDS launched the second 5G network in Romania during this summer, very shortly after Vodafone's, and at much lower prices, and after the launch by Orange, it remains the cheapest 5G network in the country. RCS & RDS has not only the cheapest 5G network in the country, but also the most extensive, having 5G stations in more locations than Vodafone or Orange, and this gives it a theoretical advantage over them.

RCS & RDS has advantages in terms of coverage, for now, and price, but in front of Orange and Vodafone it remains with a very big disadvantage, the quality of the network that can be enjoyed by customers who choose it. RCS & RDS demonstrated speeds of up to almost 700 Mbps for its 5G network in Romania, below those of Vodafone, and almost half of those promised by Orange, the difference in price for subscriptions being very clearly seen here.

RCS & RDS has two big advantages compared to Orange and Vodafone, but also a very big disadvantage, and as the months pass, it will remain exactly as in the past, with the advantage of the price, but not necessarily the quality of the services. Orange and Vodafone have always had higher prices than those from RCS & RDS, and this is because they also have much better quality services, and the situation will remain unchanged with regard to the 5G revolution.

RCS & RDS invests a lot in the 5G network, and offers it even for those who do not have a lot of money at their disposal to enjoy the latest technological developments, which is absolutely necessary for a country like Romania. It is easy to believe that RCS & RDS will not be able to offer the same 5G speeds as Orange and Vodafone for customers in Romania, and we see this even with 3G and 4G, but the price remains far below those of the competitors.

RCS & RDS amazed with the launch of 5G, continues to amaze with its coverage and very low price, but it remains to be seen if in the end it will manage to catch up with its competition in terms of performance.
