WhatsApp has been working for a long time on the launch of a dark mode for mobile phones, and the fact that everything is ready in the Android application comes as a big surprise for everyone. Considering the very long period of time in which this new interface was prepared by WhatsApp, it is normal for many people to be surprised by the fact that the launch for Android could be done at any time, but this is avoided.

WhatsApp allows the testing of this dark mode in the beta version of the Android application only by its engineers, and the rest of the world can only occasionally see certain interface elements, and nothing more, unfortunately. No one knows at the moment when the new dark mode in WhatsApp will be released in the public version, but it is expected that the distribution will start during 2020, and not earlier than that time.
WhatsApp will not announce in advance the launch of this dark mode, but it is possible to promote its availability since the change is so important and desired by users all over the world now.
