NASA: HUGE Dangerous ASTEROID Detected on its way to Earth

NASA has issued an important new warning regarding a huge asteroid that has been detected as being on its way to Earth right now.

NASA dangerous asteroid

NASA warns the whole planet again about a new extremely dangerous asteroid, which has very large dimensions and is heading towards Earth at a very high speed at the moment. We are talking about an asteroid that NASA has named 2019 UO, it has a diameter of about 550 meters, so it is so big that if it were to hit the Earth it could kill even a few million people, in depending on the impact area.

NASA claims that the asteroid moves through the universe at a speed of approximately 34.000 KM/h, which makes it extremely dangerous for our planet, even if for now its trajectory does not intersect with the Earth's. NASA has always said that it is very possible for an asteroid to have a modified trajectory at any time to intersect with the Earth, and this makes the rock extremely dangerous, because the impact would be devastating.

NASA: HUGE Dangerous ASTEROID Detected on its way to Earth

NASA detected the asteroid named 2019 UO long before it actually reached our planet, but if its trajectory intersected with that of the planet, nothing could be done. NASA will only test in the following years systems that are meant to divert the trajectories of some asteroids that can hit the Earth, but if that were to happen now, we could do nothing but try to run away from the path of such a rock.

NASA states that the huge asteroid will reach the Earth on January 10, so in about 3 days, so all those interested in seeing it will be able to do so if they pay attention to the starry sky during that period. NASA has also calculated that after this asteroid visit, we can expect it to return near our planet sometime around 2032, but maybe then it will represent a more important danger.

NASA he managed to discover this asteroid in time, compared to others that he observes only a few hours, or days, before reaching close to the Earth, but he is already working on a solution for this problem.
