Dacia Duster: FIRST Hybrid Model Announced, WHEN it will be LAUNCHED

Dacia Duster has announced the first hybrid model, here is when the launch of this special model is prepared, and what you can expect from the Romanian manufacturer.

Dacia Duster hybrid

Dacia Duster has already announced the first hybrid model from the range of cars that the Romanian manufacturer sells worldwide, and we are talking about a very big step taken by the company owned by Renault. It seems that the next Dacia Duster model will not only have a facelift, but also a hybrid version, which will mark a first for the Romanian company, and will bring more economic options for customers in the country, and not only.

Dacia Duster has already announced since January a model that has a dual engine on gasoline and LPG, but the hybrid version prepared by Dacia should work on both fuel and electricity. Dacia Duster could have a low power electric motor for short journeys around the city, with an autonomy of several tens of kilometers, which could be supported by a second internal combustion engine, which would also come into action at certain speeds.

Dacia Duster: FIRST Hybrid Model Announced, WHEN it will be LAUNCHED

Dacia Duster it was the first model from the Dacia car range that was seen in tests in a 100% electric version, so it would be quite logical to see a hybrid also made for this series of cars. Of course, the company doesn't say anything about the launch of a hybrid Dacia Duster, but considering the images that appeared in 2019 with the model tested by the manufacturer, another decision doesn't seem logical at the moment, but nothing is certain.

Dacia Duster in the hybrid version it could still be more expensive than the current models, the version with gasoline and LPG engine starting from 14.000 euros, so the hybrid could be even more expensive. Here comes a problem for the Romanian market, where Dacia Duster is a cheap SUV for Romanians, so a more expensive version will not be as well bought, but on other markets in Europe, and not only, a version of this kind could was very successful.

Dacia Duster it could be launched in a hybrid version in the second part of this year, but for now the plans of Dacia have not been revealed beyond the intention to launch a facelift for this series.
