Facebook takes a very useful and very interesting measure in the context in which the Coronavirus is spreading rapidly even in the USA, taking the decision to offer those from the World Health Organization free ads on its platform to combat fake news.

Facebook had this announcement made by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of the company, saying that the WHO will receive as many free advertisements as it needs to correctly inform the world about the Coronavirus, and combat fake news.

Facebook will offer free advertisements even for government agencies, ministries of health, or NGOs that try to inform people, and now when searching on the net the first message says directly to the WHO website, the second to the DSU page.

Facebook announced these measures while choosing for some time to block all advertisements with fake news regarding the Coronavirus, but also the posts that present false information about the virus in China, and its decisions are surprising, seeming not to be aimed at profit.
