DACIA Duster enter in a new form in the equipment of the Romanian Police, the new versions of the special vehicles that will be used by the authorities were presented yesterday, and below you can see how they look. Although the DACIA Duster cars that are prepared to enter the equipment of the Romanian Police are, in terms of specifications, close to what already exists at the authorities, we are still talking about a modification for the way they are fitted, a quite interesting change.
DACIA Duster it is presented by the Europol Union in the images below, and they say that the new graphic elements used for car stickers make them similar to the way they look in other European countries. The truth is that for Romania these new versions of the DACIA Duster will stand out in traffic compared to the cars that the police have now, and it is true that they resemble what is seen in Germany, that fluorescent yellow being used there as well.

DACIA Duster in the special version for the Police, it is not detailed by those from Europol and the equipment it will benefit from, but it should be the largest engine used, together with air conditioning, and other benefits. The change of look for the cars was decided by the MAI, which also ordered them, but it is not known how many DACIA Duster special vehicles of this type will reach the police in the country during 2020, but many would be needed.

DACIA Duster in the new version, it could replace the many old police cars that still walk the streets, some of them being rusted and almost unusable by the agents. The Romanian Police has a very large shortage of special vehicles that do not put their lives in danger in missions, but if I remember correctly, a few years ago some Logans were bought by the police for 70.000 euros each, so it is understandable that which are used for long periods, but these DACIA Duster probably don't cost that much.
DACIA Duster it is already used by the Local Police in many cities in the country, it is also used by the Gendarmerie, especially in the mountainous areas, but soon we will see the new models including in the cities.
