The Romanian government has taken a very important decision that affects all the people who circulate in Bucharest, and it is something that everyone should know about right now, as protective masks become mandatory outdoors in certain areas of the country's capital.

The Romanian government requires that protective masks must be worn in the Old Center throughout the day, the same being valid in public transport stations, train stations, bus stations, or even markets, i.e. congested areas.

The Romanian government also imposes the mandatory wearing of a mask for events that take place in the open air, regardless of nature, in fairs, and in the network of the areas below, non-compliance with the rules bringing large fines.

"It was decided to make it mandatory to wear a protective mask throughout the day in the area delimited as the Old Center, in the entire pedestrian zone. It was decided that all persons must wear protective masks in markets, fairs and exhibitions, for the entire duration of the exhibition and fairs. It was decided to make it mandatory to wear a mask in STB stations, train stations, CFR stations, platforms, bus stations, bus stations, taxi meters."
