Facebook took an unprecedented measure, and decided for the first time to sue, in the USA and Great Britain, companies that collected data about users using malicious software, they refused to be audited by the Americans before the trials.
Facebook also sued an American who had a company that sold fake likes, all as part of a surprising campaign by Facebook to remove from their platform companies that abuse access to data.
Facebook has already discovered these problems since last year, blocking the access of the applications of those companies to the user data from its platform, and trying to audit the data collected by them to discover what was stolen, but unfortunately it was not very successful.
