Raed Arafat made an announcement today that most certainly will not surprise many Romanians, and this is because he claims that the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic will be much stronger than the first, and this mainly because will take place during the winter.
Raed Arafat says that if the Romanians will not respect the rules of protection against the Coronavirus, then there is a very high chance that the situation will get completely out of control, which of course no one wants at the moment, so it is important to respect the rules.
"The estimates are that the second wave will be during the winter. How hard it will be depends on us. If we can get it down, we'll get the situation under control. But the decline will not come easily. If the rules are not respected, if there is pressure not to take restrictions, the fight may be much harder and for a longer period."
