We are talking about a function that in Android has been offered in a beta version by WhatsApp for some time, it allows people to set any wallpaper as the background for the conversations they have, and to modify it a little.
WhatsApp has this function integrated now in the beta version including the application for the iPhone, the American company is testing in the beta version, with its engineers, this substantial modification that it will offer to the public in the future. Until then, WhatsApp gives us the opportunity to see how this new functionality looks on the iPhone, which will allow us to customize the background of conversations, even in groups, depending on what we want to see as the background.

WhatsApp allows these changes to be made in a surprisingly simple way, just as if we change a common wallpaper for our phones, and we have the option to set individual changes for each conversation, or a global one. Everything is designed to help users not to be left without a functionality that has existed for a very long time for Android, and was requested for years including on the iPhone, but it was left waiting, unfortunately.
WhatsApp will publicly release this functionality when it is 100% ready to be offered to us, and of course it will take a little patience until that happens, but at least we will finally have it available.
