The Romanian government is leading the anti-Coronavirus vaccination campaign

The Romanian government officially announced today its choice regarding the management of the vaccination campaign against the new Coronavirus, the doctor Valeriu Gheorghita from the Military Hospital being the one who will have to coordinate this very complicated procedure, for any country.

The Romanian government says that the first doses of the anti-Coronavirus vaccine will arrive in our country somewhere around the end of this year, or the beginning of next year, and some ministries are already making lists of people who want to be vaccinated, and they will have priority because are involved in the fight against the Coronavirus.

"Together with the Minister of Health, Nelu Tătaru, I had a very applied discussion today with Lieutenant Colonel Valeriu Gheorghiță, primary physician for Infectious Diseases at the Central Military Emergency University Hospital "Dr. Carol Davila", the one who will coordinate the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 at the national level.

I assured Dr. Valeriu Gheorghiță of my support and that of the Government in this mission of great responsibility. Together we will prepare in the smallest details and in full transparency an effective vaccination campaign so that Romania can successfully overcome the health crisis."
