The initiation of the vaccination process against COVID-19 aims to immunize a sufficiently large number of people so that the spread of the Coronavirus on a large scale is substantially reduced, but for this to happen, almost 11 million people must be vaccinated.
This would mean somewhere around 60% - 70% of the Romanian population, the percentages being presented by Valeriu Gheorghita, the man who coordinates the vaccination process in Romania, but until such numbers of vaccinations against COVID-19 are reached, it will take some time .
"At the moment we will ensure the vaccination of 60-70% of the adult population, which means almost 11 million people."
