Raed Arafat: not everyone can be a priority for vaccination

Raed Arafat vaccination priority

Raed Arafat talks about a new "problem" with vaccination in Romania, and that's because despite those who don't want to get vaccinated, there are also many who do, and who are upset because they can't do it yet for to be protected against the Coronavirus.

Raed Arafat says that not everyone can be a priority because in this case no one would be a priority, but anyway there are no doses to immunize all people, so it will be interesting to see what will happen when the vaccines are finished and the appointments people will come to term.

"I know that I am part of a phase closer than the phase of the general population. But here we return to the discussion of how many we can prioritize because we are discussing teachers, we have the HoReCA part, here we have those who sell at the supermarket, who sit at the cashiers. (…) There is no way for everyone to be a priority, because then we are all a priority and no one is a priority anymore.

It's about quantities, it's about vaccination capacity. Now maybe the only thing that stops us from having more people vaccinated per day is the number of doses we receive, as in other countries, Romania is not the only one in this situation."
