Huawei is one of the biggest phone manufacturers in the world, you already know that, I don't need to say it, and of course you still know that Harmony OS is the "new" operating system. Huawei presents it as an operating system for mobile phones, one that would be of its own production, but in reality it is nothing more than a modified Android 10 in terms of names and other internal functionalities.
Huawei uses the Open Source version of old Android in what it says is Harmony OS, its contribution being related to the change in branding, and the replacement of Google Mobile Services with Huawei Mobile Services. That's pretty much what Huawei did to "create" Harmony OS, and that's because the operating system itself, the Android one, is totally Google's, so practically nothing changes in relation to what is now on the Chinese phones, although the new software was supposed to be a "release" from Google.

Huawei it also has a very complicated process through which those interested can now get access to the "beta" builds of Harmony OS, but there is nothing beta about them, because it is about an already mature Android. Huawei hasn't said anything yet about the discoveries of many developers regarding the fact that Harmony OS is just a modified Android, and it doesn't have much to say either because that's the reality, and declaring something to the contrary is not really normal.
Huawei it still has a very big problem here, and that's because Harmony OS was supposed to free it from the "yoke" of the Americans, but still using Android, it remains dependent on Google. This dependency boils down to the implementation of new functions, and that's because if they don't end up in Android, Huawei can't really offer them alone, and it won't be able to offer some anyway because they won't work without other Google services.
Huawei it will continue to think that Harmony OS is its own operating system, when in reality it is just a modified Android, which does not bring exactly what it hopes to achieve.
