Coronavirus Explanations regarding vaccination with Moderna doses

The Romanian authorities provide below some explanations for those who are scheduled for vaccination between today and February 16, they will be immunized with the vaccine doses sent by Moderna, over 70.000 already arriving in our country.

The CNCAV says below how the procedure will be carried out, but also that a period of 28 days passes between the two administered doses, instead of 21, as in the case of the Pfizer vaccine, so it is good to know this very important aspect.

"Vaccination with Moderna has started!
Useful information:
- The persons scheduled for vaccination for dose I, between February 4-16, will receive the Moderna vaccine and will perform the booster at 28 days, in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer of this type of vaccine;
- After the first dose, the medical staff will enter the person's data and the type of vaccine administered in the National Electronic Register of Vaccinations (RENV), from where the platform takes the information to generate a new receipt according to the type of vaccine."
