Huawei launched a new serious attack against the Google company, the Chinese wanting to show that they are able to offer a variety of services even without being "linked" in any way to the American company. In 2020, Huawei launched Petal Search, a search engine that was thought to be a kind of alternative to Google Search, but its main utility consists in finding applications that cannot be installed in its phones without the Google Play Store.

Huawei now goes further and wants to launch Petal Translate, an alternative to Google Translate, the Chinese company already registering the brand in China, and most likely will do it in other areas of the globe. The word Petal seems to have been chosen as a substitute for Google in the services that Huawei wants to offer, they being the ones that are now missing from its phones, in the form of applications, because some can still be accessed online now.

Huawei he has no way to solve the problem of the lack of Google Play Store from his phones, and this means that the Android applications from the store cannot be installed either, especially since Google Mobile Services are also missing. Those from Huawei are trying to find the best alternatives for the phones they sell all over the world, and that means to a good extent taking over the ideas from Google and offering them under other names.

Huawei he doesn't really have a choice at the moment because even though Donald Trump has left the White House, the new US president, Joe Biden, doesn't seem willing to allow the company to carry out its activity as it did before. In this idea, Huawei continues to offer alternatives for Google services that are missing from its phones, and this process should continue not only in 2021, but probably also during 2022.

Huawei has so far managed to offer quite good alternatives for the Google applications that have disappeared from all its phones, but it remains to be seen what it will manage to offer in the end.
